食道ガン5年目
今朝の朝刊には「国立がん研究センター」の発表として、
ガンと診断された患者の3年後の生存率が発表されていました。
これまで5年という節目だったのが、新たに3年目をまとめたものです。
部位別は以下の表です。
私は、ちょうど5年前に「食道ガン」と診断され、手術を受けました。
これは術前。
これは術後。
幸いにして、早期発見だったのでステージ的には「Ⅰ」でしたが、
それでも内視鏡でやれるかやれないかのギリギリのところ。
検査入院を繰り返し、その経過を観察されながら今日に至っています。
食道ガンの原因は、私の場合ですが、
（1）食事の時よく噛まない（早食い）、
（2）酒が弱い（すぐ赤くなる）のに、酒をよく飲む（特に強い酒）、
（3）ストレスを溜めやすい、持ち越す。
この8月に5年目の「節目点検？」。
特異な症状はありませんでした。
でも、食道は長さ25cm、切ったのはそのうち5cmだけですから、
油断すると残り20cmでまた発症すると先生に言われています。
それから2年後には、こんどは「大腸ガン」になりました。
まぁ上から下からの責め苦です。
そうしたら胃にピロリ菌が発生、その退治をしたら前がん症状。
先生は、縦線がダメだねぇ、と。
消化器系の縦線（食道、胃、大腸）ですが、
30年前には胆のう摘出もやっていますので、まさにその通り、です。
加えて、
別系統の「心臓冠動脈狭窄症」も発症し、大忙しの5年でした。
グラフを見る気持ちも素直になりながらも、
いつかまた？、という不安はぬぐい去れません。
でも、今のところは元気！
お座敷？がかかるまで、ユルユルぼちぼちと生きてまいります。
